Assessment Overview
Be trained and assessed in the following areas:
- Heat Pumps design
- Components
- Fault Diagnosis and solutions
- Installation and Comissioning
- Test, Commissioning and customer handover
- Inspect, service and maintenance
Pre-requisites
Candidates should ideally have a Water regs Certificate, and one of the below:
- Level 2 or 3 in plumbing in heating & ventilation / Gas / Oil
- ACS Core qualifications (certificate)
- OFTEC Qualifications (certificate)
- HETAS Qualification (certificate)
Assessment Method
Following completion of the training course, candidates will be assessed 2 x online multi choice assessment papers, with other theory-based assessments in the centre.
