This course provides training (if requested) and assessment on the installation and maintenance of domestic gas fired appliances. Any operative must hold the relevant appliance qualification and must be able to carry out any work on that appliance.

Expiry
This course is valid for up to 5 years.
Previous certificates must be produced at the time of assessment as evidence.
Pre-requisites
Operatives must hold a current CCN1 qualification.
For MET1 operatives must hold either CCN1, CESP1, CMA1.
Assessment Method
Assessment is carried out using a variety of assessment methods including multiple choice, short written response and scenario questions, and observed practical assessment.
